There are currently 7 universal emotes in Roblox commands and 44 purchasable emotes for Rthro and R15 only. For the universal emotes in Roblox commands, those are /e dance, /e dance1, /e dance2, /e dance3, /e cheer, /e point, /e wave, and /e laughs.
/e dance is the name of the command that does the random dance when using R6. This one resembles a rave dance when using R15. /e dance1 is the name of the command that resembles Gangnam Style when using R6. Please keep in mind that this command only works for R6. You are allowed to use /e dance if using R15. /e dance2 is the name of the command that can make the player moves from side to side when using R6. This one also can make player twists arms and looks side to side when using R15. /ed dance3 the name of the command that can make player jumps on alternating legs with arms pointed in R6. This one also can make player sways side to side while moving arms in R15. /e cheer the name of the command that can make player jumps and cheers. /e point the name of the command that can make player points. /e wave the name of the command that can make player waves quickly in R6. This one also can make player waves slow in R15. /e laugh the name of the command that can make player laughs.
Some people believe there are some other ones such as /e dance4, /e dance5, /e laugh2, /e topspin, /e ballet, /e pain, /e tuffaroo, /e twerkthem, /e godparents, /e rage, /e superkid, /e sleep, /e sitting, /e babushka (or /e russian), /e puppet, /e crate, /e caramelldansen, /e facepalm, /e win, /e invisible chair, /e hummingbird, /e pumpit, /e jackinthebox, /e fliegen, /e breakdance, /e upupdowndownleftrightleftrightbastart, /e pewpew, /e pound, /e amethyst, and /e disappear.
The thing called emote is the name of the menu that was added to the Roblox launcher on June 24, 2019, as well as the section for emotes to be purchased on the Roblox catalog. For those who are curious, the first emotes to be added were Tilt, Stadium, and Salute, all of which are able to be only used with R15 avatars. The emotes are able to be accessed in game by clicking the silhouette of the white Roblox avatar on the top of the menu or pressing B.
Apparently, emotes was removed after an hour of being live due to complaints from developers, including the icon that didn’t fit well with the rest and this update was too sudden and uncalled for. It has been known that a few of the complaints were referencing the B key being overwritten without a warning. On July 1, 2019. There was an official follow up posted by Roblox. a month later, the emote menu as re0enabled with the B key bind removed. This one was disabled again 2 hours after. A few days later, the emote menu was once again re-enabled.
